CEFC China Signing the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Republic of Ingushetia


On June 3 and 4, Zang Jianjun, Executive Director of CEFC China Energy Company Limited, led a delegation to visit the Republic of Ingushetia of the Russian Federation upon invitation. The delegation was warmly greeted by Ingush President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov at the official residence.


President Yevkurov said that Ingushetia looks forward to working with CEFC China, a leading Fortune 500 company, in energy, finance and other sectors, and that the government is willing to provide support in terms of policy, security, taxation and labor permits.


Expressing his best regards to President Yevkurov on behalf of Ye Jianming, Board Chairman of CEFC China, Zang Jianjun stated his confidence in the cooperation between CEFC China and Ingushetia, saying that both parties have their own strengths to bring to the table.


A Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed on the evening of June 4 between the two sides, covering a number of areas including oilfield re-purposing and exploration, establishment of an energy investment bank, and RMB cross-border settlement. In line with China’s national development strategy, this agreement is expected to promote the “Belt and Road” initiative and the practical cooperation between China and Russia in energy and financial sectors.
