Jiang delivering a keynote speech on CEFC China’s progress in brand building
On November 8, the 2016 China Brand Forum, with the theme of “Innovating and Pioneering: Towards Medium & High End”, was held by the People’s Daily in Beijing. Vice Chairwoman of NPC Standing Committee Yan Junqi, President of the People’s Daily Yang Zhenwu and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee Tuo Zhen attended the opening ceremony. Vice President of the People's Daily Zhang Jianxing moderated the forum. Over 20 mainstream media outlets offered live coverage of the event.
Over 500 entrepreneurs, experts and scholars gathered at the forum to discuss the development of Chinese brands. Famous business leaders including Chairman of Wanda Group Wang Jianlin, Chairman of China Huarong Lai Xiaomin, Chairwoman of Gree Electric Appliances Dong Mingzhu and Chairman of JD Group Liu Qiangdong exchanged views on how Chinese brands can gain a louder voice and facilitate China’s supply-side reform. As a well-known Fortune 500 company, CEFC China attended the forum upon invitation. Entrusted by Board Chairman Ye Jianming, the company’s Party Secretary Jiang Chunyu, Liu Huabin from the Information Center and Zuo Shenyi and Li Xinlu from the Brand Management Department attended the forum.
At the Top Chinese Brands talk session, Jiang delivered a keynote speech as the representative of an enterprise that plays an exemplary role in supporting China’s “Belt and Road” Initiative. Centering on CEFC China’s brand strategy, culture and ethos, Jiang highlighted how the company, committed to national strategies under Ye’s leadership, had been expanding its overseas market and tapping its advantages to build an internationally competitive national brand, becoming an exemplary Chinese private enterprise in supporting the Initiative. The speech was applauded by the attendees, raising CEFC China’s brand awareness and reputation.
