On March 20th, Li Yong, Executive Director of CEFC China, met Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of Total, and his delegation in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on issues ranging from overseas upstream resources investment to cooperation in the Chinese market, and explored opportunities for cooperation in international trading and joint investment in oil and gas projects.
Total is one of the top 4 oil majors in the world, and has a significant business presence in over 100 countries. CEFC China and Total joined hands as both are shareholders of the ADCO onshore concession in Abu Dhabi. Both sides agreed to leverage their respective strengths and unique influence to further strengthen international cooperation.
